Matchmaking Service

Events

If you register for an event organized by The Love Doctor Events, we process the following data:

Payment details (such as bank account number)

Any photos and video/audio recordings from the event

Any additional information you provide as a participant

We use this data to fulfill our agreement with you as a participant, for example, to verify your ticket. We retain this data for up to one month after the event. Some data may be stored longer if legally required (e.g., for tax purposes, up to seven years).

If we process personal data by taking photos or making video/audio recordings at the event, we do so with your consent. These recordings are kept for 7 years.

Trips

If you register for one of our trips, we process the following data:

Name and address details

Date of birth

Gender

Nationality

Physical characteristics such as height, hair color, and eye color

Phone number

Social media account

Occupation

Educational background

Payment details (e.g., bank account number)

Any photos and video/audio recordings from the trip

We may also process special categories of personal data obtained through introductory conversations with participants. These conversations help assess interests and partner expectations, and may involve data such as:

We process this data to fulfill our agreement with you. Special categories of data are only processed with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time. We retain this data for up to one month after the trip. Some data may be stored longer for legal obligations (e.g., tax records).

Photos and recordings from the trip are processed with consent and retained for 7 years.

Website

When visiting our website, we process the following data:

These data are processed to ensure proper functioning of our website and are retained for up to 6 months.

Newsletter

– Gathered through conversations, questionnaires, or activities

– Only with your explicit consent, such as sexual orientation or lifestyle, if relevant to matchmaking

This data is used solely for matchmaking and may only be shared with another participant when mutual interest is confirmed and consent is given.

We retain matchmaking-related data for as long as necessary for the service or up to one year after termination, unless legally required to retain it longer.
